Recommend it for shopping lovers

I had a fantastic time selecting my pillow from the options they had on the third floor! ! It was a nice touch that made the stay feel more personal. Plus, enjoying the onsen every night after exhausting days of walking was phenomenal! Nothing beats that relaxation after a long day of exploring.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but for the price, it felt reasonable enough considering the location and amenities.

Clean, comfortable hotel with great breakfast.

Room lacked space for bags and hooks for clothes. underutilized layout made it cramped with an unnecessary extra bed. Bathroom size felt like economy class on a flight, difficult to navigate. No tea, coffee, or hand soap in the room, and new towels were delivered without taking the old ones. Frosted glass window hindered any view, and absence of a room safe was concerning. The 'check-out' process felt unconventional and somewhat clunky.

I really enjoyed being a few minutes away from Nishiki Market and the Teramachi Shopping Street, making it the perfect home base for all my city explorations. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had a great breakfast that fueled my days of walking around Kyoto.

Great location right in the heart of Gion, surrounded by restaurants and shops. The breakfast selection was impressive with tasty options. Loved the complimentary drinks from 6-8 pm. a wonderful way to unwind. Onsen facilities were a fantastic bonus after a full day of exploring. The room was on the smaller side, but that's expected in a central location like this. However, the layout wasn’t ideal. there wasn't enough space for luggage or clothes. The frosted glass window limited visibility, and the bathroom felt cramped. Despite these inconveniences, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the experience was overall enjoyable.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Super Hotel Kyoto Shijokawaramachi. The breakfast offered a delightful mix of Western and Japanese dishes, and I particularly appreciated the friendly staff always eager to assist. The onsen was a soothing experience after a day of exploring.

i previously stayed in kyoto, but super hotel exceeded my expectations during this overnight trip. the onsen experience combined with the excellent breakfast made my stay truly enjoyable. location was perfect, allowing me to explore nearby attractions easily.

The location is superb, just steps from the market, making it convenient for exploration. Enjoying the evening welcome bar with a variety of beverages was a delightful touch. While the onsen offered a unique experience, the shower space in the room felt cramped. The breakfast had limited options but was quite fresh, and the lack of space for luggage storage made moving around a bit challenging. Additionally, the absence of tea-making facilities in the room was disappointing.

Buffet breakfast was super tasty and offered a good variety. The staff went above and beyond to help us with our luggage shipment. Really loved the evening refreshments, too.
